The Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) and Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) are valuable data resources with untapped potential to identify and monitor patterns of health service use and inform health service planning.

The Sax Institute invites you to attend a webinar series of our seminar Working with MBS and PBS data. Over three weekly sessions (120 minutes duration each) participants will receive an introduction to datasets, advice on dealing with some of their specific characteristics, and view worked examples of how they can be used.

Federal program, created by Public Law 89-97, Title XVIII-Health Insurance for the Aged, a 1965 amendment to the Social Security Act, that provides health insurance benefits to persons over the age of 65 and others eligible for Social Security benefits.
